Tomorrow is the day where we will listen to our students' poems and will have to decide on who will represent LA SCORES in New York. Our original dates for tryouts had to be pushed back a week so the poet-athletes can be prepared and give us their best!
Our local LA SCORES Poetry SLAM will still be on the same date (April 2nd). Word is that the Poetry SLAM will be at Palms Elementary School but I still need to figure out if thats just a rumor or if it really will be there.
I wish all of our students trying out for the National SLAM GOOD LUCK!!
